Kathleen "Katie" Siemont grew up in San Mateo County, a rare Bay Area native. She attended undergraduate studies at CSU Chico, then moved 2500 miles away and earned a Joint Law Degree and Masters' Degree in Public Health at George Washington University in 1997. After law school, Katie worked with the American Psychological Association in Washington D.C. , then with the Department of Justice and the Interior Department.

After living and working on the East Coast for ten years, she returned to the Bay Area, joining a statewide worker's compensation litigation firm, practicing in Marin County for the next 20 years.

In 2019, Katie opened her own law offices in Benicia, California, focusing on Estate Planning, Probate and Elder Law after her own parents passed away. Having gone through the experience of losing both parents, she can understand what you're going through, and she can tell you what to expect.

Katie has litigated hundreds of cases to Trial during her litigation career and has developed an unmatched insight to human behavior. As an INFJ, she has the gifted ability to review a conflict and identify the main driving issues and the underying motivations of those involved.

Her experience in driving across the U.S. five times, living on both coasts, and volunteering with the public for the past ten years has made her a fierce advocate for the underserved. She has provided hundreds of hours of pro bono legal assistance to the public and continues to volunteer for both Lawyers in the Library and the Senior Legal Assistance hotline in Solano County.

Since 2015, Katie has volunteered with the long-running pro bono program of Solano County Lawyers in the Library, counseling thousands of people. 20 minutes at a time, with their legal issues through the longest running pro bono Northern California legal program. She has a reputation as an amazing listener, a compassionate yet outspoken and determined advocate for her clients.
